A Hotspot is a place or an establishment where you could connect to the internet wirelessly at broadband speeds using wi-fi technology. The locations where you could do this will vary wherever the service is available.

What is Wireless Internet?

Wireless internet or wireless fidelity (wi-fi) is a service where you could surf and browse the internet using laptops, PDA and other devices in a location with wi-fi service. You can download, e-mail, chat, play games or do office work at broadband speeds.

What devices will I need to surf the web with wi-fi?

You will be needing laptops, PDA or other devices with standard IEEE 802.11b wireless internet cards. Other newer devices has built in wi-fi interface.

Where do i get to avail of the service?

You must first configure the network card of your device and then pay for plans or get prepaid cards at the hotspots. Be sure to check the specifications of your device and also check the sites below for help in configuration.
